    I replaced the blower switch today. I now have cold air on all speeds. A must for this NC heat and humidity. Still having the issue with the compressor running all the time, but it looks like I’ll have to drop the dash to get to the micro switch. I just didn’t feel like getting in to all of that today. Anyone ever replaced the micro switch? Are they available?

    So sorry for your loss Dennis. I feel your pain, we lost our 14 year old Springer Spaniel 2 weeks ago. It sucks!

    I’m having the same issue on my 70. The compressor runs when the selector is in the heating and vent positions. Now that I’ve found this post, I’m going to look at mine tomorrow and hopefully correct it. Anyone else had this issue? If so, anything else to look for? Thanks

    I won this as a door prize at the Eastern Meet in Carlisle this year. I’ve had my morning coffee in it every day since. My wife even likes it. She says it looks like our car on the cup.

    I took my 71 out of storage last October. I don’t remember if I’ve ever checked the mileage since putting the 402 in it in the late 80’s. I’ve only put about 24,000 miles on it since then. I filled it up back in October and filled it up again today on the way to a cruise in and checked the mileage. This is the result. (402 with turbo 400, 3:31 gears, 2700 rpm stall torque converter)

    Ed, Let me know if it arrives. I ordered mine two weeks ago on Sunday. It was supposed to arrive the following Tuesday but never came. If you get yours on time I’ll order again.
