  1. At least it’s not a battery vehicle, not yet anyway.
  2. Welcome Kevin. We love questions and photos. The best place to be for a First Generation Monte Carlo owner. Plenty of information, knowledge, and fun !!! We hold multiple Club Meets yearly in various locations across the US and Canada. We would love for you to join us and become a dues paying member.
  3. Wow, Gene Winfield going strong at 96. I love it !!! Being around custom cars, car shows and automotive events keeps him young. He has been customizing cars since the mid 60’s. Come meet this customization auto legend at the Syracuse Nationals !!!
  4. Thanks for sharing Glen. A little bit of history there.
  5. Welcome Brant !!! As you can see, no shortage of members here looking to say, hello and assist you when needed. We do run multiple Club Events yearly including the Eastern and Western Meets, Syracuse Mini Meet and also a Mini Meet in Bristol Tennessee. All of these events are tied to various car shows or events. Well worth being a part of this Club as a First Generation Monte owner. We hope you become a dues paying member and come join us. Plenty of opportunity to experience all that we offer and well worth the very small price of $25.00. We have quite a few members from your home state too.
  6. Way to go Steve. I have been keeping track of the days too. Yes, it’s coming up soon after the Eastern Meet at Carlisle. Bring it on !!!
  7. The Long Island Soprano’s held a breakfast gathering for local FGMCC members and some of our “car guy” friend’s a few weeks ago. At breakfast, James Moglia (screen name “Goatboy 1”) told us he was diagnosed with cancer and was going in for surgery a few days later. Although it was a major surgery, he was very optimistic about a good outcome and that was his focus. He had his surgery and did very well with it. He was ahead of schedule with his recovery and his doctors were quite impressed. Unfortunately Jim was readmitted yesterday evening and succumbed to complications from his surgery earlier this morning. Jimmy came with me to one of our Carlisle Meets and fell in love with the Club and its members. He became a dues paying member even though he owned multiple Pontiac GTO’s. He loved to come to Carlisle for the Eastern or Mini Meets as his work and family schedule allowed. He made friends with many member’s, and always had a joke or story to share. Those who knew him, you always had a good time and a very hearty laugh with him. Please have a good thought or say a prayer for Jim, his wife Dianne (married 29 years) and 2 daughters, Jacqueline and Carolyn.
  8. Willie, I currently out of town but we had no FD related calls from it. My neighbors felt the Earthquake and 2 aftershocks with no damage to their homes or property.
  9. Happy Easter to all. Have a great day and enjoy !!!
  10. Thanks for keeping the information flowing Steve. Always appreciated, and good news and upcoming events at the Syracuse Nationals. Only 110 days until this massive event starts. Come join us and check it out !!!
  11. We will have to name it “Lil Red” since we already have a “Big Red”. Nice package in an SS car !!

  13. Welcome to the Club and congratulations on your Monte find. Enjoy !!!
  14. Congratulations Greg. Thank you for your support and continue to enjoy the info and friendships here. If you haven’t been to an Eastern, Western or any Mini Meets, plan to attend one of the Club events. It’s really nice to talk face to face and meet the members you talk to on the Forums.
  15. I’m heading in to NYC to march with my brothers and sisters from the Suffolk County Firefighters Emerald Society. We have members from the 109 Fire Departments in Suffolk County (Long Island) marching in the largest and oldest parade in the World. Quite an honor to participate in it. We step off at 130pm. More than 2 million people attend along the parade route and over 150K participate in it. It is televised worldwide too. This is the 262nd year of the Parade, which started in 1762. Nice comfortable weather with no rain in the forecast. Please be wise, and be safe !!! Wishing everyone a Happy St Patrick’s Day and weekend !!!
  16. Great newsSteve !! Looking forward to seeing you there. You know where we will be set up.
