The tail shaft should come off by taking the four bolts out of it and slide off the rear of the tranny. At least that is how my 700r4 is, A lot easier than I ever thought it would be

If the XT4 has a Northrstar it will more than likely need premium gas. We had a Northstar in our Buick Lucerne and it did not run real good on anything else. We love our 2022 Envision better than our Equinox Premier we turned in last year

It used to be if you bought a "rebuilt" starter from NAPA it was actually a brand new model with a rebuild tag on it. That was one of the reasons I always went with rebuilt NAPA starters it had a better warranty than their new ones when I worked there 10 years ago

This bugs me also. Some do not know a nut from a bolt but proceed to tell you all that is wrong with your car and that theirs is perfect NOT!!!!!

I bought a Buick version of that car for my oldest daughter and she called it ugly and would not drive it. It had the even fire 231 V 6. The motor had been rebuilt and it ran like a scaled dog was really quick even with the turbo automatic. I ended selling it because I did not need that many car’s around -

A good friend who retired form Delco Remy's ignition lab had a new coil for the dist, cap. After 3 hours we put it in and it fired. We had tried two other coils with no luck so now to tweek the timing and maybe rehook up the MSD box.

The PO on my 72 used black electricians tape to black it out. Effective but not very pretty.
