LostnFound
Here's one near you out of a big block 1970 Caprice for $400...anyone know if this one will fit? http://longisland.craigslist.org/pts/4134537132.html or maybe Leo has one? Michigan isn't far and you could give him a belated birthday hug.
Sam (Bones)
the 442 one will, the full size one won't I have one but shipping is the issue
714024SPEED
Just make sure that the one from the Olds is a real 12 bolt. The B.O.P (buick ,olds, pontiac) rear used ten bolt guts but was drilled for a 12 bolt cover. They are usually cheaper because of this reason. Sam (Bones)
don't think you'll like a 4.
71 monte project
whys that?
Mike 57
I have 4.10s. It is not a highway cruiser that's for sure! My main goal is the track so that is ok. An overdrive would help but most first gears in overdrive trannys have a deep first gear, combine that with the 4.10s and you have a really short first gear that is hard to hook up. A 4l80 trans has a better first gear but it is big and heavy and you need a controller. Another option is a gear vendors O/D.
71 monte project
i have a 700r4 trans an this is going to be my " weekend warrior" haha in your opinion do u think i am better off going with 373 gears?
