sendo
hello, just removed my dash so I can install a/c and power windows and notice surface rust on some hard to reach spots, any suggestion on how to take care of it?

MC1of80
Hey. There will always be some rust in those spots on all the GM cars. From the factory those areas were never painted or protected. I am facing the same situation shortly. I am either going to brush on a rust inhibitor or spray some on. Probably both. The area under the dash does not have to be pretty, just protected. Hope this helps.

Steve G
like-90 dry film pn# 10012 , the stuff is an amber clear color, cant paint over it, not for looks, use only after bodywork and paint is done on your car as it will contaminate primers and substrates. But is will stop corrosion 100% dead in its tracks, will not peel or flake off like paint or so called rust converters. I use 6-8 cans on a restoration after all the paintwork is completed.
