Glen Posted September 5, 2022 Share Posted September 5, 2022 Got to stretch the legs on the ‘71 today, attended the second annual (my first) show in a suburb called Joliet 35 miles away. Joliet is home to the infamous Joliet Correctional Center of Blues Brothers fame. You’ll see that Jake and Elwood were in attendance. Easily 300 cars and the rain held off which is always a bonus. I was able to find two other First Gens. The best part? My coat hanger exhaust strap held up while I await the correct replacements to arrive. I was trying to get a picture of a caricature painted on the side of the taco truck but the young lady in white stepped into the frame at the last second, effectively eclipsing the shot.
