FrankOC
Looks like a nice survivor. https://www.hemmings.com/listing/1971-chevrolet-monte-carlo-768793?utm_medium=email&utm_source=mus_weekly&utm_campaign=
MC1of80
For 62k I would want more of a showish car. Car is filthy, not many options but is a SS. Different color combo. In the questions section someone asked if he had a build sheet to authenticate it as an SS and the owner answered it shows in the vin. Which we know it does NOT.
DragCat
Yea a little pricey for me on a survivor. I wonder if the load leveler works? I didn't scrutinize the photos but what's up with the red wire to the alternator? I know probably a ground but really ?
Gregs70
I think that car was on Ebay a couple of years ago, I could be wrong, and i believe it was like $25K

TheBMan
I agree with everyone on the price - too high for the condition and color combo.
Searsman
I wouldn’t give it $$$.. lots of more money would have to be put in it afterwards.. unless you wanted a driver... for a driver it’s way overpriced.. btw.. no gauge package on an SS ? Is that strange ? ...
MC1of80
Gauges were an option. Not standard. Open differential, standard. Posi , optional. Etc. The SS package, RPO Z20, gave the SS badging, F41 suspension, LS5 454, th400, dual exhaust with tips, level ride and a few other things standard. Bench seat, column shift, manual windows and locks all standard. Everything else could be "optioned" on.

DragCat
Well I'll assume both seller and dealer are both happy. The prices on our Montes isn't dropping from what I can see
