overdrive
Check here. You can put your # in a Google search for more info. I have one that's a 350 from '69 with 4 bolt mains. Some are 4, some are 2. Dan

cny first gen 71
Hey I have a factory 4 barrel manifold for that enging it came out of a 68 327 or 350 according to the numbers on the manifold.
JOHNA01374
3970010 is the good 350 block. They have higher nickle content than other blocks and from my under standing most where 4 bolt mains. I've had a number of these and they will take a ton of abuse.

robs70monte
4 bolt main blocks or good in a hipo engine but for a mild 350 2 bolt mains are fine they hold up fine

Mike 57
The 3970010 block was use in 302s, 327s, and 350s, from 69 to 80. could be 2 or four bolt
Sam (Bones)
nothing wrong with a 2-bolt block
Ian
My engine builder said that the 2 bolt cores are better most of the time, and to use the aftermarket 4 bolt caps for high horsepower applications
rollin 72 monte
oh ok so 2 or 4 doesnt make a diffrence cool
Mike 57
Two bolt small blocks are fine for a "hot street" application. Like Ian said they make a better foundation for a high performance buildup. We have the blocks converted to four bolt blocks with the three center caps converted to 4 bolt splayed caps. By the time you get all the hipo stuff done to a stock block you can get pretty close to a aftermarket block.
