  1. Past hour
  2. That is why so many people plan for and then move out of this state upon retirement. My entire family lives here and we’re a pretty tight knit group, so I’m not going anywhere. Financially I would be better off somewhere else.
  3. Today
  4. Have a great time, safe travels and send lots of photos. Enjoy !!!
  5. Welcome to the club !. Love the 402 !!!
  6. I better load the 71!. I need your help again Dennis !😄
  7. Not so bad here in Ky on cars over 20 years old. Considered antique. No registration every year, sales tax 6 % of whatever $ amount you and the seller say it sold for. Yearly property taxable value very reasonable on antique cars, for instance some only valued at a few hundred dollars on taxes. Insurance less per 1000 value on antique cars. Cars can be considered a classic at 15 years old for insurance purposes.. needless to say, I won’t be moving at this age to California or NY. Even tho both states are beautiful, I couldn’t afford to live there on a Ky retirement..
  8. If you take the number 11 and multiply it by 4 your result will be the same as our 44 days and a wake-up until our members start arriving in Carlisle for our 25th Eastern Meet rob
  9. No sale, bid to $8.150 but did not meet the reserve.
  10. Looks like a repair seminar going on there. rob
  11. I checked his profile preferences earlier, it's set to 'take me to content I haven't read yet'. It's set the same as mine, meaning it takes you to new posts.
  12. Hope your feeling better Jared, hopefully nothing serious.
  13. In the link below the 70 Monte Carlo SS is the number 2. I don't think this is the same one you were trying to link to rob https://www.topspeed.com/forgotten-american-muscle-cars-every-enthusiast-should-know/
  14. When you say you are not able to see NEW messages I am not sure if you are talking about a Private Message someone has left for you or messages in the open boards, please try to be more specific. Maybe this will help also. When you go onto the club website. From the main page, when you click "Forums" it will take you to all of the available forums. Then you look down the line of forums, if there are any new posts in that forum it will show in BOLDER LETTERS the two little quote bubbles to the left of the forum identification will also be in heavy black rather than shadow gray Once you go into one of the forums with the bold lettered forum, any of the topics in that forum that has a new comment to a post will have a heavy black dot or star indicating someone has responded to a post or it is a new topic. If you read a particular post that you would like to respond to you can click on the (+) Quote under that post and the system will populate that persons post with an area where you can type your reply. It is a learning process, you will catch on. rob

  16. It has to do with the ambient temperatures and the volatility of the fuel. Colder weather requires a higher volatility to burn the fuel as opposed to the heat of summer. Your fuel suppliers take care of it behind the scenes, unless you lived so far up north that it may not be an issue? Here's a couple results from a quick search, a few others basically say the same thing. https://blog.amsoil.com/the-difference-between-winter-and-summer-blend-gas/?gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI2LTW2tDyhQMVs0tHAR1hUAAvEAAYASAAEgKZHvD_BwE https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a15339380/the-vapor-rub-summer-versus-winter-gasoline-explained/ Apparently environmental concerns are part of the mix too, as far as vapors.
  17. I know we blend diesel in Canada but I don’t think we blend gas? Is that just a southern states thing?

  21. Hey Steve, i have been here 15 plus years and still learn something from here everyday!!! Like Mark said if you want to acknowledge someone's response you click on the heart on the lower right. If you look up at the bell and there is a number there, someone else liked what you stated and it shows who when you click the bell. The envelope on the right side of the bell is s Private Message (PM), that will show a number also, just click on the envelope and the person that sent you the PM would be there, just click on his name and read his message. You can answer him right there and then send it back to him as a PM. Like i said i have been here awhile just ask away we are all here to help!!!!!
  22. Hate you couldn't make it Joe. Woke up not feeling well Thursday morning.
