These both have the same letters and tread pattern. The ones with the clean letters were on the front and heavily worn on the outer edge. I have some others with the older lettering on this same tread pattern and some on the old tread pattern too.

Aaron.... If you also notice, the tread patterns are different too. Montelishi's spare was of the earlier pattern and the lettering was much better then the ones on the road. Sadly, it had a huge split in it, and when I took the wheel in to get the Tigerpaws mounted, the guys showed me that the wheel was bent beyond repair as well. I mounted one of the old BFG tires on a spare rim (for the trunk), and found that Vasoline did a pretty good job of brightening the lettering... At least better than some of the cleaners I'd tried.

hello nosz20 i have been looking for 2 sets of bumper guards for my 2 70 monte carlo's, i would like nos and something reasonable. not something that would need rechromed. just checking availability and price first. wife say's my budget is pretty much maxxd out. i'm a new member and am enjoying working with my fellow club members. sure my 2 girls could use other parts but need to watch my spending as my cancer treatment is hard on the budget. as one can only imagine. but i would really like to finish these 2 cars to the best perfection i can afford so i don't leave my family with the term "projects". ha ha. thank you for your time and look forward to hearing from you at your convenience.

I’m going to be posting a bunch of parts for sale. I will ship at buyers expense. I will accept checks from members, I will accept PayPal friends and family ( buyer pays fee), I will accept PayPal goods and services but 5 percent will be added to the total to cover PayPal fee. The parts will be sold cheap enough so that shouldn’t be an issue. All parts will have a price but reasonable offers may be accepted. Yes Steve as I have said to a couple others In The group it is one of the nicest grilles I have seen for sale I had bought one from a monte carlo expert and paid a pretty good price for it more then I have the one in the pictures for I was at one point thinking about taking the one I had back out of my car and putting this other one in the one in my car now has a broke mounting tab . I would take a check if you would like to send one paypal charges so many outrageous fees anymore and want to gold some of my funds 2 different times just let me know what you would like to do

Thanks for the reminder. I did some research and was surprised how many stations near me carried it. $5.40-$5.70/gl. For regular only. It’s about .20/gl more than the ethanol stuff.

good morning walter, my wife is out at the moment. i think pay pal, check, however you would be comfortable with. please be patient with me as my cancer has me not as mobile as one would want. i am in florida at this time and would want it shipped here, addres is *****. now i would assume this grille is excellent from the pictures and conversations i have seen between you and other members. i am only days into this club as a new member. my grille has dull chrome and has pitting pretty much throughout the little squares. i was going to go through the process of having rechromed but havn't ever done that before. so i'm looking for a grille to just install and be happy with. the picture on my new member site where its first and foremost in the foreground shows my current grille. the rest of the chrome is perfect on my 70 402. so you probably get where im coming from. i get you, your posts very much as i said remind me of my father, he was,nt one you joked with when one is being serious. i am very much the same. not sure if it's because we are marines and he's been gone some 15 years now as are all my side of the family. In many ways I miss him.
