I think somebody already posted the 71 SS, unless someone else used those radio knobs 🤣 Yea the "inspector" could save you some coin, but if your making and adventure of it could be fun. Depending what your driving down, 1/2 of the cost is gas back and forth 🙃

I used to be a huge fan, but to quote Richard Petty, its no longer a sport, its entertainment. I haven't been to a race since 2013, and don't watch any. I still follow the headlines, probably my last year since KH is retiring. I do follow the Dale Jr podcast because he mostly focus's on the history of the sport and brings in some of the old timers. Ive been to lazy to take down the 2 hoods I have hanging in the living room, but they'll be going out to the garage soon.🤣

Went to another car show today, much smaller than the last (over 1000 cars then) and the Monte was there. I tracked down the owner, he remembered me from the time we both had Montes on the grounds (don't know if that's a good or bad thing🤣) Told him I was the one that left the club business card on his console. Told him about the rear bulbs and he knew, suggested the LED and he wanted to go that route but was worried about all the work involved. Told him to check out the forum, many members have gone that route, pretty E Z Peazy lots of information here. No other Monte's there but I'm going to a local cruise in later so 🤞

Good advice there.....As a young lad I was taught pay is good but be aware of the benefits (pension/401K/healthcare)When I saw Eastern airlines go under, and took the pension plan with them the light bulb went off, nobody is going to worry about your retirement fund for you except you.
