That’s weird cuz I ordered a set thru them and they were one of the interior pieces NOT on back order for months. Although my interior is black, so maybe the color is what the issue might be. My door panels? They’re another story.. should be here by late August or early September.

Mike, I placed my order on 14 April. Talked to “Lacy” who was super cool and helpful. I’m still waiting on a ton of other parts - she estimated delivery in July and August depending on which part. Same deal with OPG; I ordered a ton of things from them also. About 80% of it has arrived (console just yesterday! See attached pic) but a few more things are on backorder and not expected to arrive until mid-July. I’m not getting upset over it (yet!) as I plan on doing the interior over the winter or first thing in the early spring next year.

All BS’ing aside, sorry to hear that you got stuck with a Frankenstein. There’s very few things I hate more than shysters and those who misrepresent or conceal things to make a sale or quick buck.

Hey Scott S., Oftentimes you can find your VIN stamped on the flux capacitor. Remove the ‘Z’ pin just to the left of gigglesnort valve to access it. You’re welcome.

I ordered my vinyl replacement covers, springs and foam (among a ton more interior pieces) through Legendary. Everything for the seats has arrived within a month except the foam, but they told me when I ordered it would be anywhere from 4 to 6 months before I received everything. The vinyl is of excellent quality, and I can’t wait to see how everything looks after the new interior is completed. That’ll be either over this coming winter or first thing next spring before cruising season.

Very cool! I pulled my back seat in the hopes of finding another build sheet (I believe the one I have is off the gas tank) with no luck. Hoping to strike pay dirt when I redo the interior over the winter or early next spring.

To me it’d be worth the money to have an upholsterer dissemble and reassemble the seat to get that build sheet out in the best shape as possible. Send some pix once it’s freed from its spring prison.

My 70 has them, but didn’t notice as they’ve been painted Shadow Grey to match the car somewhere along the way. I would’ve never known about these had I not read this thread.
