Scott, I just removed mine this year when I had my Monte painted. No rust at all with the original 52 year old vinyl top,

I use Extang Tonno Tonic. It’s a cleaner and protectant. Extang makes numerous vinyl tonneau style bed covers for pickup trucks. 1 bottle lasts a long time. My top is black and it keeps it clean and looking new with a moderate sheen.

James, It will fit with a 10 inch rally rim with with a 5.5 inch backspacing, as long as your exhaust tailpipes are in the factory location.

I have not Steve but keep your ear to the ground. I don’t know if they are looking for another hotel or will set up somewhere outside the Fairgrounds (maybe in a trailer or outbuilding) to purchase or pick up your show passes for the event. I will reach out to them and let you know what I find out, when and if I hear anything.

The reason this is being posted early is that hotel room availability in Syracuse will be 600 rooms less since a large local hotel has been purchased for senior and assisted living residences. First of all, welcome to the FGMCC !!! Second, thank you for your service. Congratulations on owning your 2nd Monte and becoming a Club member. We hope you enjoy it and get to participate in various Club events.

I purchased a complete stainless steel exhaust 2.5 inch system, mufflers with hangars and stainless clamps from Pypes. No H or X pipe added, straight dual exhaust from manifolds back to the cowbell exhaust tips. I had a shop install it as I did not have access to a lift. It’s been on my Monte SS 14 years now and still looks like the day it was installed. I get many complements on how nice it looks and sounds.

Nice Cougar Mark. I have a few friends with them, none convertible. The 351C, C4 and a 9 inch rear were a stout package. The convertible with AC is rare too. With a triple black car it’s probably necessary. Enjoy it !!!

I do not know where to get contacts for the clock. There are automotive clock rebuilders too. It depends on what your looking for, originality or a quartz movement. The original clock pauses each second. The quartz second hand constantly moves and does not stop for each second. Just another way to repair or replace it depending on how you want your clock moment to look.
