  2. Looks great David your getting close now getting excited?
  3. I did learn a little trick a while back by mistake but it works great. Go to the dollar store and go to the bathroom cleaner isle and get a prodect called the works toilet bowl cleaner its in a white bottle with a blue lable. pour some on the fitting very carefully let it sit for a while then repete. BE CAREFUL NOT TO SPILL ON ANYTHING YOU DONT WANT RUINED this stuff is acid and burns like heck. it will help remove the rust. make sure you rinse it off afterwards and it will eat skin and clothes so be carefull. but its great for removing rust it melts it away. Oh yea it works pretty good on calicum build up on toilets too.
  4. They came out real nice now you just gotta get them burnt up a bit
  5. It may be to late for you but if you havent been into one for a while or ever its better to lay all the parts out on the bench in order as you take them out that way they can go back in the same way. Thats how they tought us in gm school. Of corst after the 3rd or 4th time the instructor would move parts around and take parts out and not tell us untill it was back together if we didnt figure it out. Also check your repair manual some of them have a pretty good breakdown. Good luck.

  19. I bought a new set of blades and of corse there black so I removed the rubber part and painted the metal silver to match and reinstalled. then I decided they really didnt match so I removed the arms and the blades again cleaned and skuffed them and repainted the whole unit then cleared over the whole thing then reinstalled. Gee now that I look at it thats an awfull lot of work for something i've only used 4 times but it does look good.

  21. The front bottom proved to be the most difficult a lot of pulling tuggging and stretching and of course cutting. But I wrestled with it for a while tonight untill my daughter got home. Then we had our triditional green beer together as we do every year in honer of my dad. He would have been 90 today. Him and I started doing it when I was just a kid and my daughter joined us when she was 16 now its just her and I. Any how heres the seat almost complete. The next pictures will be when its all back together.
