I am trying to find the timing line on the balancer, is this line the right one?

My Monte was pushing it when stopping at red light, after rebuilding carb and the problem went away as I believe it was related to vacuum issue. Have you looked into your vacuum pressure?

I don’t have solenoid on mine so I cannot help, this makes me wonder if I need it

Not sure if these would be helpful:

I believe bumpers are all same for all FGMC with holes drilled for guards.

Mike, I used POR-15 on my Monte and didn’t realize I should apply paint over it as it looks great!

Not sure if this would help as the Previous owner modified and i changed it back to original with correct air cleaner

Hi, am seeking for a new timing light gun for me to tune up my 71 Monte as I’m not sure if the one with digital would work on FGMC? I would love to get digital one to help me with tuning up, if it will work, any recommendations on digital timing light gun?

I installed plastic from parts place and easy to work with.

It happens to me once a while.

Applied high build primer 3 weeks ago, put parts back in - drove it last Saturday for first time in a year! Switched driver with my son, it died on us, My wife came to rescue us by giving it a jump start, had difficulty keep it running, back in garage 😪

Where can I find emblem fasteners and gaskets as the original are worn out?

Aaron, thanks and will drill hole in it as I’m wondering why it is not pre drilled... Yes, you are correct as I was told I need 1/4 inch which it is but still hard to close, is it normal for new rubber bumpers?

I am checking with you all to see if I have wrong parts: 1. Rubber Door Jamb (u-shaped), the original have hole while the new one didn't as I am not sure if the previous owner drilled a hole or I have wrong one? The part number of new one is RPW40074 by TrimParts (see picture), what's the correct part number if I have wrong one or do I drill a hole in as the part fits in fine? 2. Trunk lid jamb - (round one that you attach to the edge of the trunk lid. I installed new trunk weatherstrip (TPW40010 by Trim Parts) which fits fine along the jamb ones which came in a kit (TPW401449 by Trim Parts). But I had difficult closing the trunk lid, had to really slam it to close, little difficult to open it - for testing purpose, I removed the trunk lid jamb on both ends, it closed much easier. Do I have wrong part? If so, what's the correct part number?
