72jrfan88 Posted December 5, 2014 Share Posted December 5, 2014 Hello everyone. Been going back and forth with guys at work about what type of cables are original to our cars. I have a 72 custom. My battery cables screw into the side of the battery. Cables seem original as they have stamping on them but im wondering if they were changed out. Ive been told that they should be top post that clamp on. My cables have a red plastic end and a silver type color where they screw in.
