John S
Does the fuel pump on a 1970 Monte with 300hp 350 have 2 lines, ( 3/8 and 1/4 return) or just 1 line. I thought only the big block had the return line.
Malyc
Mine may have been modified before I got it, but I only have one line.
70 Iron
My 70 350/300 4 barrel had the 2 lines with the external metal fuel filter that sits in front of the intake. I had a 70 350/250 "2 barrel carb " that only had 1 line, both I beleive were original.
Sam (Bones)
my '70 350/300 HP has the line to the tank, and 1 to the carb. 2 lines total, no return line
70 Iron
I beleive since my 350/300 is an early production Nov "is the reason for the external fuel filter 1/4 return ect,I had to replace it and had to get one for a 69 chevelle ,others I'm sure will have a better clarification
72jrfan88
Not sure if 72 350 is the same. But I also have two lines. One rubber one going to tank. And a metal fuel line that goes up to carb/fuel filter

John S
My pump has 3 lines 3/8 in, 1/4 return, and one to the carb. It is a early 1970 Nov 69 maybe that is why. John S
Canuck
My 1970 350 4-barrel just has the one line in and one to the carb. I got my car with 47,000 miles and all stock back in 1996.
Rob Peters
My 70 350 2brl production date of late June 70 has only 2, one from the tank and one from the pump to the carb. Rob
John S
No idea what a previous owner may have done, but it sure looks original. When I get a new one I will check one for 69 Chevelle. John S
Mr70Monte
My '70 (350-300hp) has 2 lines from the tank, (fuel & return). The return line comes off the metal fuel filter (AC GF-432) right above the water pump, its the same setup that was used on '69 Chevelles. If my memory serves me correct, this was used on the L48 (350-300hp) when air conditioning was ordered.
John S
OK my return comes off the pump. I'll figure it out probably mid to late 70's 350.
