sredmyer
Does anyone know who sells kits (foam, burlap, backs and trim pieces) to rebuild the strato buckets. I want the black cloth seat covers.
RealRed70
The burlap you can get at your local Walmart at a very reasonable price. The foam you can get at National Parts Depot. Get the ACI brand, American Cushion Industries. It is the only foam to buy. The rest are not all that great. I would also get the backs and trim pieces from NPD. Not sure where to buy the best cloth covers. Either PUI or Legendary brand would most likely be the best.
overdrive
I don't think PUI has the cloth seat covers, at least they didn't carry them awhile back. I got mine from C.A.R.S. Inc. They are very nice. Dan
sredmyer
Thanks guys I really appreciate it. I am not entirely sure when my guy will be able to get to this so I am concerned about buying the wrong thing and having it sit around for a few months before it is used and then figure out it is the wrong stuff. I went to NPD site and found part number C-SF-102, here, for the 1966-1970 Chevelle. I assume that would be the right stuff for my 1970 SS but I am not sure about the "Hog ring bolster cutouts" does anyone know what this is and whether my 1970 SS should be with or without these bolsters? Inc's site and found this for the buckets and this for the rear. Can you confirm these are the correct covers for interior code 749

Canuck
I got my cloth bench covers from Legendary. Very happy with them so far.
RealRed70
Your 70 has the bolsters. What this really means is that you need the seat foam with the grooves in it. This is what forms the bolsters. When the seat cover is hog ringed down into the grooves in the foam forms the bolster.

Dans '70 Z20
Yep. Legendary is making the cloth covers now. I was very happy with the vinyl full interior set I received from Legendary Auto Interiors. Dan
overdrive
Steve, the links you posted above for the 749 code look to be correct. These are from C.A.R.S. Inc. Dan
