Sam (Bones)
I used "fatmat" got 100 sq ft for $135.00, with some leftover, still have a little more to do
Big Jim
Did you do the ceiling also with that 100 square foot?
Sam (Bones)
no I did not do the roof, I think there is enough left to do it, I did cut pieces to do under the door panels
Big Jim
Well I ordered 3 bulk Extreme Dynamat kits on Ebay. 36 square feet each kit. I will be doing the interior, Doors,Firewall, Floor,Roof, Seat Back and Rear shelf. I hope that will be enough.
Sam (Bones)
that should be enough
Big Jim
It looks pretty simple to install, kinda like wallpaper My only concern is covering up screw and bolts holes that are pretty evident proir to installing the Dynamat.
MeanMonte
Put screws in the holes to locate them, Use a roller to roll it down, and be careful the edges can be extreamely sharp on the foil after cutting. Tin snips seem to work the best to cut it. Good luck my entire inside including roof is dynomat xtreme. Didsnt quiet the car like i thought though for me anyhow i had a Resonance problem. BigDan
Did you weld it to the body or the frame?
Sam (Bones)
if you are racing...it MUST be welded to the frame, unless you have a unibody
BigDan
Do you have any pics of the frame mounting and the holes you had to cut in the body? Did you weld it from under the car or cut large holes and weld from inside? Thanks
Sam (Bones)
actually I had mine professionally done, and yes they cut sections of the floor out to do it
