kpcsgasp
Anyone know where to source replacement nylon nut plates that secure the rear taillight lenses? I guess 52 years was just too much for the originals.
jft69z
Something on this page may work. I was lucky and didn't need to replace mine at the time. https://www.amkproducts.com/bulk-fasteners-listing/?codeforlookup=7130 EDIT: I looked at a spare extension. The nuts are not exactly square, but I think this part may work: https://www.amkproducts.com/bulk-fasteners-products/?Product_ID=12915 And possibly crosses to an Auveco number: https://www.auveco.com/nylon-nut-9829

Dtret
Couldn’t find the bag but did get the information out of the amk catalog. Most of the Monte kits are in the chevelle section ( imagine that) but there’s a section for Monte unique.

That number' G4204' is a kit with 8 screws, and 8 of the nylon nuts, part number 'B-12915' as I suspected. Thanks for verifying I at least had the correct number. https://www.amkproducts.com/search-result/?ser=g-4204 That Auveco number is a good cross then, and the GM part number is: 380382

And here I thought “nut plates” was something squirrels ordered off the appetizer menu. I’ll be here all week, don’t forget to tip your waitress. 1
