My deepest condolences to family and friends of Terry.
-
It’ll have to be a third party, postdated, out of state check. Cuz I’m so broke I can’t pay attention 😭
-
So sorry to hear of this also! Thoughts and prayers to his Family and Friends including Your Family Tony. I am truly sorry!

Starting to see the "light at the end of the tunnel" on the cleanup. Ive been a keyboard warrior ( IT person) for so long this manual labor is whooping my butt 🤣 Threw my whole week into a downward spiral 🙃 Snuck off Wed morning to order a new washer and dryer, on the checkout screen noticed "backordered" on the dryer for at least 30days 😩 so as the saying goes "the hits keep on coming" 🤣 Had planned on going (with the suburban) to a new track for test and tune, 2.5 hours away tonight, get some seat time and check out the facility, well nope that isnt happening. NOT complaining, lucky it wasn't worse. Speaking of storms, never liked living in Cali, earthquakes no warning to sketchy for me. Having lived in Fl for years hurricanes at least give ya some warnings. Was there in 92 when Andrew rolled through, I wasn't affected personally but spent the next months pretty much working around the clock in Miami area. I had a Bronco 4X4 so it was pretty much 'Mark doesn't need roads so load him up and send him out" 🤣 Pretty much realized Mother Nature just doesnt care. 2005 Wilma rolled trough, watched my sliding glass doors bow back and forth which Wasn't a good feeling. Final thought, don't take Mother Nature lightly, been there done that and ended up on the lucky side. But Ive seen the other side

Took the plunge and got the top of the line Seal Skin cover for the 01 Monte. I will post a review when I get it and it is on for awhile.

Get the fender exactly where you want in before you weld the patch in. I would make sure I had the hood and fender wells installed also because they all need to fit together. Once its tacked together you could remove it and weld it completely. It looks like the patch if overlapping the fender. If so, do you plan to cut it for a butt weld?

Very nice picture. rob

One of our many breakfasts we met “Mr Terry” as he was referred to from my kids. He would bring them coloring books and things to do at breakfast, and always surprised Ant with some form of a hot wheels Monte. here is the link to his Obituary https://www.harkinsfuneralhome.com/memorials/terry-lee-reynolds/5436430/index.php

Here is another picture of Terry. I like this one a little better. I had to resize it to fit on the boards. As beautiful of a car as it is and the fact he could easily take an award plaque almost every year he would either refuse to put our voting placard in his windshield as you see in the below photo or he would write on the club placard 'DO NOT VOTE FOR MY CAR, I DON'T WANT ANY AWARDS'. rob

Terry was a master at a stock looking modified car. That car was nothing short of amazing. I went out to lunch with him one day and he got mad at me for not doing a good enough burnout in that car. He made me stand on it up the road from his house and I didn’t meet his expectations 🤣. Anyone who saw it knows how nice it was. that 427 was so nasty!

Sad news! Terry was a great guy and I looked forward to talking to him when he attended the meets.

I talked with Terry two or three weeks ago on the phone. Terry had told me awhile back that he was planning to come to Carlisle on Saturday but would not be bringing one of his cars. When I talked to him on the phone he had informed me that he would not be able to make it. Everyone loved Terry. He had a wonderful sense of humor and when he would laugh you couldn't help but laugh along with him, I loved that laugh and will always remember that laugh when I think about him. The car Terry brought to Carlisle the most was his beautiful 70 Misty Turquoise with a black vinyl roof. Below is a picture of Terry with that car from one of our meets. rob

What did you do to your Monte Carlo today?

I need to update my pictures. My dash and kick panels are done. It came out great
-
I had to replace the head liner to change the color. The trim in the ceiling was able to be painted same as the dash and kick panels. Take the front windshield out when you change the liner. It isn't necessary but it does make life easier

The tech at Auto Value explained that to me..... The actual starter tester isn't fitted for mini starters, but if you put the starter in some type of clamp, (he has a bench vise on his table) and connect the wires, one can test it. It's all just a matter of keeping the starter from jumping around while testing.

Ahhh..... A kept man..... Nice work if you can get it.
