What better place to start? Very nice
  2. OH Rob I'm very sorry to see this. Of course I remember your family. I enjoyed speaking with your dad at the meets, I'm very sorry for you and your family
  3. The speedo capable was easiest to remove from under the column. Lying on the floor with a long screwdriver. Putting it in was much easier too.. After you put everything back together, go up underneath and just reinsert it. The tab will lock itself. I removed my cable last summer due to excessive chattering . Pulled the cable completely from the car, remove the cable itself from the sheath, clean and degrease, then regrease it. I'd almost suggest you do that while you have the cluster out, not hard at all.
  4. Great news about Sam, and sorry to hear about your curling accident! Hope you had a good thanksgiving and things settle down there for you both
  5. I brushed Rustoleum on mine, I figured no one would see it anyway. Wire brush any surface rust, recaulk and paint
  6. Very nice write up, Stan snuck a plug in for the FGMCC also! The car is as nice in person, as is Stan!
  7. http://www.dixied.com/product1828.html AuVeCo part #8400. Been on my car for 10 years and many other members have used them as well
  8. AuVeCo part # 8400. Any body shop supply place or online company. These are a plastic version of it, perfect fit, and no metal to metal rubbing and rust issues.
  9. I remember making my own, but for some reason didn't remember removing one when I took the car apart.
  10. I'll check my book later for you, but I re used mine with no issues. Not sure if they are even reproduced
  11. i Used the same wire that Steve did, it was the perfect source
  12. Mostly stock 350 in mine also, I've just been putting any fuel in my car for about 12 years, only additive has been stabilizer in the winters, other than that, it runs just fine on basic 87 octane gas. I can't answer anything about the valve seats and all, but I have had no issues at all
  13. I used the Petronix kit as well, it's been about 12 years now, never had an issue. I haven't left my key on without the car running for any length of time, but it's the first I've heard of that. Very easy conversion, cost effective, and best of all, no points to deal with!
  14. I got my bench covers from CarsInc. Only company that made cloth bench covers at the time. I would prefer Legendary over PUI but I'm more than happy with the CarsInc ones I got
  15. Way nicer than my first car! I'm with Bill on the black car thing
  16. Very sad to read this, I remember Bill from that Carlisle event. Such a shame to read of another person taken way too early by this horrible disease
  17. Soft and grain on mine! Never knew there was a difference
  18. More recent than a Flyers shirt with Lord Stanley's cup! Way to represent Rob! Looks great
  19. I used a set of plastic ones from The Parts Place, about 10 years now, no issues at all
  20. Thanks for taking the time to post them Rob! Everyone's car looks great, missed you all this year, hope to catch up with everyone next time
  21. I got it all through Jegs or summit. Can't remember but I can look up part #s If you need them
  22. I have them in my car, fit nicely. Oil pressure and water temp was all I wanted, they are very visible without being in the way
  23. Looking good Ryan! Someday soon you'll be bringing that thing up to Carlisle to show it off I hope
