    I've never built a hot rod or modified but I don't think I could or would cut out any harness. Like you said if you ever sold the car what would the next guy do. Just my opinion but it's your car. Good luck with the project.

    How about the advanced timing. My car basically did the same thing until I set the advanced timing. Good luck

    My 70 standard column was color matched but I believe that all tilt columns were black

    Sammy, the decal on the firewall is Coded AW which matches box 104 on the build sheet. I replaced that decal when I repainted the radiator panel. I never checked the code until this morning when you asked. I believe I bought the decal from the parts place. I'm not sure if I got lucky or if all the 70 radiator labels are all the same.

    The car was at a car show in my back yard this past October. I didn't meet the owner but it was a nice looking car.

    My build sheet shows the air cleaner code in box 55. Box 91 on mine is for wheel cover codes. Are the build sheets different??
