  1. My glass guy recommends the brutal 5/16th’s rope for our first gens or any of the older cars. When mine was installed 8 years ago they used the Urethane and my moldings around the rear glass do not fit the best but he said it could be the glass but more than likely it is the urethane
  2. I had a set of the disc brake centers on my 72 that I put on my 72 before switching to the Ridler 675's that now reside on it. I found out later they were after market because the spelling of the word disc was disk. LOL LOL
  3. I bought new hinges and springs from Leo Konicks Klassiks and the work perfectly he is listed in our venders section.

  6. I have some of those screw extractors for striped Phillips head screws I wonder if they would work on your deck screws. I have used them and they work pretty good but not sure on old rusty svrews
  7. go with am LED no heat to speak of
  8. paint it semi gloss black and it can go anywhere as the black helps hide a lot of our mods where that yellow will stick out like a sore thimb

  15. Don't have any beer but did down a Wilde Cherry Diet Pepsi very quickly and I gave my slef a good dedusting with the air hose was gonna say blow job but this is a family friendly site
  16. My son-inlaw Jamey came up today and wefinished digging. I hope I do not have to dig anymore 20 wheel barrow loads is laying on y side and belly has got me sore and all bruised up. Now to call a plumber to run the new water line this week
  17. I went with the white/gray splatter on my 72 because I did not like the colors of the others. I think I went thru 5 cans of splatter maybe 6 and at least 4 cans of clear and 9 years latter still looks good. I did buy a piece of carpet and had it cut and sewn to fit my trunk the way I wanted it. There is not many original parts as my car was assembled of parts and pieces of a few cars. When I got it it had a 70 gauge cluster, 700r4, 290 horse 350 installed in 07 plus other odds and ends on it
  18. You have to scroll almost to the end of the emoji's to find them
  19. That is what I am trying to do but I have to dig out the crawl space to get to the new conduit I had installed to run the new line thru. They started on the north end of the house drilled thru 2 concrete walls and out the south end of the house (about 100') then pulled in a 3" line for the new water to go in and a 1" line for any electrical wiri g I may need at a later date.
  20. I know the feeling been under the house trying ti dig out the crawl space so I can replace the water line that burst under a concrete slab. gettin old is not for sissys
  21. Well Dennis you if you could use a change of scenery for a few hours you could always come over to Indiana and help me dig out my crawl space so I can get the new water lines installed. Dug out four wheelbarrow loads today. I guessing I am about 1/4 of the was done. It is a little tight under there and Glendia is pulling the dirt out from under the house in a 2 X 3 sled I made Friday. Not fun on either end for. A 74 year old man and 70 year old female but it is cheaper than hiring it done specially when you have very little spare cash. I had a drilling/boring company out last Monday and they drilled from the north end of the house to the south end through two concrete walls to pull in a couple of pipes so we can run the new water lines and wiring In them getting rid of the temporary thru the attic lines
  22. Morris Concepts three point conversions
  23. Mine will be 50 the 30th. I have the original registration from when ole red was brand spanking new
  24. Sucks though because they are screwed down but the heads are rusted enough that I can’t drive them back out Were they Phillips head head, square drive or Torx? My deck boards are installed with square drivew stainless steel screws and com out rather easily. This is one reason I spent the extra Money back in 1999 so I could replace boards if necessary but more than likely won't have because of Menards Trex style decking that was about 2/3rds of the Trerx cost back in the days of yore
  25. Long time since I have seen blue striped tyres. Lol
