i had put a holley carb on my car 30 plus years ago, thank gosh i kept my original quad, although the holley did good ,i was going thru the gas ,,i had an old time mechanic, do a vacuum test ,while the car running he took a propane torch unlit of course and waved it over the throttle base, rpm s, went up leading to the worn out brass throttle plate bushings had the carb rebuilt with new bushes , etc. car runs like new, roger

guys, I noticed the rear hood seal on the various year cars, is the gasket a v groove seal that attaches to the hood with clips ,facing the front of the car ,thanks roger

hi, I have 12 point bolts that are on my hood latch (4)that hold the device to the radiator core are there any other place on the core support where these go , i have extras not,sure where they go,if anywhere,thanks roger

ron, great story, I also drove a 75 ford esquire station wagon in 1978,with the fake wood sides ,then when i was a so. in high school bought my 72 custom from the original owner,who also lives in plainfield il.I would have a hard time selling my car but know one day I have to let her go.

hi, i have a beverly hills car cover for the past 35 plus years ,all cotton and in perfect condition ,don't know if they are still around, indoor cover ,would buy another one of these for sure if needed but will probably go with the car when i decide to let the 72 custom go after 40 plus years

hi guys ,so i went to tamraz yesterday nice new location in naperville il. i bought 2 weatherstrips one was 5070a v shape, and the 5070 molding that is completey different and had to by additional black plastic push clips (not round but rectangle )15 for 5 dollars i have to cut the weatherstrip to accept the push clips it looks like i have to fasten the wiper hoses before i install the soft seal to the hood ,does anyone have a factory stock picture on how to correctly install the wiper fluid hoses and new seal thanks a lot roger

hi, i was washing my 72 and noticed holes on my hood in the back underneath ,is there supposed to be a gasket or a weatherstrip attached to the under side ,there are holes about every 6 inches , thanks
