Mike Brichta
I found a 70 Chevelle 12-bolt 2.73 posi rear for sale and was wondering what it is worth these days. The guy says it runs perfect and is complete from drum to drum. He said he just removed it from a runing car. Thanks!! Mike
cny first gen 71
I'll give you a hundred bucks mike but only if you can deliver it just kidding. A guy had one near by here and was asking a grand for it I passed on it but then again he was asking 19 grand for a 71 monte in about the same shape as mine maybe not a nice as mine so he was kinda in his own little world. Sam (Bones)
it's worth at least $
72-CLASSIC_RIDE
In my opinion worth is based upon want & need. I bought a 69 Chevelle 12 Bolt .273 Posi & paid $750.00 for it & that was before I completely rebuilt it. I was able to inspect it with the axles out and housing cover off. By the time I was done, I had over a Grand into it. That was about 4 years ago. Just my perspective. Doug
714024SPEED
I would say $400-$500 WOULD BE FAIR.
Jared Richey
I get $400-500 each on an open 12 Bolt, NON posi. The last one I sold went to a fellow club member in Florida. Don't make an offer, let HIM price it first.
black07ss
Tell him $200, that should make up his mind and give you a number he wants for it. By the way, something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it
