  4. I get contacted every couple of years from MC Convertible owners who have questions or want to compare notes. I'll keep my ears open. The foto is from August 2023 at the now closed forever Bandimere speed way west of Denver. I beat the 68 Mustang ahead of me. Surprize-surprize! Error code -200 and I can't even delete the boxes that say "Upload failed" ...God how I hate computers! I give up!!!! Dave
  5. I wish I had more knowledge about ac to answer your question. My compressor is working but I had a bad high blower relay and I think all my freon is somehow gone.
  6. Thanks for sharing Ron!!! All the cars are beautiful!!!! Love the 72, but there was one missing!!!!! What gives Ron????
  7. Last Jerry’s restaurant in the US cruis last Sunday.. beautiful weather, nice cars. A couple of oldies for Rob and one muscle car at the end for Mark Little Red Corvette
  8. Who knows? May have to be put in super duper custom modified chevelle she- velle high Hp corvette disqualified catastrophic category:)
  9. The compressor switch will not cut the compressor on.I can jump the 2 wires and compressor will run all the time. Can you get that switch or how to bypass.Almost ready to rip all the factory out and put a Vintage air in.
  10. I cleared out a few messages if you want to converse that way.
  11. Most of the vendors list the aftermarket fenders as 70-72. But if you get really into the listing, or when placing the order it should break them down to the specific years. From what I understand these fenders do need some massaging to fit correctly.
  12. Yes it is getting real now!! Today marks 27 days and a wake-up in our countdown. That means in exactly 4 weeks from today our first members will arrive in Carlisle. rob
  13. Thank you and others for your kind words. I sold my first car, a 1959 Vette which I bought at age sixteen for $1500. The guy who bought it forty years ago still owns it to this day. That was the only one I let go in order to help with the purchase of my first home. My son shares my passion and was raised around cars and their maintenance. He is an A/P for a major airline and has excellent skills, especially crawling under cars, lol.
  14. My right front fender is 3/16 in longer than the left. This creates a very large ugly gap between the head lamp housing and the hood. I assume that someone has replaced the right one with an offshore incorrect part. My research shows that the original GM part numbers are different for the 70, and the 70 and 71 are the same. Several vendors list a 70-72 fender, one customer rating indicated that the 70-72 part did not fit a 70 without modification. Can anyone recommend a brand or source that will fit without modification and be the correct length?
  15. Dang, something tells me there is no cure for your "sickness", Kevin - it just gets worse and worse! 😄 Congratulations on your wonderful collection of GM classics! Glad you are able to give them the love they deserve. You must already have considerable "garage space" to keep all those beauties under roof!
  16. I was able to take my '70 SS for a ride Saturday. It was good to get it out and relax. Dan
  17. yeah mark they were way out of their minds. thank you for trying though my friend. I truly appreciate it.
  18. Sorry Steve, I didn’t know It was such an old listing. I looked for dates and didn’t see any. If it’s still for sale then it says something about their asking price.
  19. Yes, from what my contact told me today, they started going out today. The excitement builds. rob
