  1. They install just like the originals although they do not go into the factory holes. Studs in different locations. You would have to drill 2 holes in each endcap, remove them and bolt on the trim pieces.
  2. The dipstick tube itself coming out or just fluid coming out the top of the tube?
  3. No. Just make sure whatever style seal the new tube requires is used. Either an o-ring or a boot. Some people prefer the boot style due to more of a sealing surface.
  4. Welcome Welcome! Pics!!!!!
  5. That looks to crisp of a stamping. Too perfect and the 9 andthe 2 don't look like the gm style stamps. Obviously I can be wrong, that's my opinion though. What about the block casting number and date code?
  6. I would purchase the firestone helper air bag kit and tow away! My open trailer has alot of tongue weight and a fully loaded tool box up front and with the helper air bags I tow great! For a 1500 at least. Lol
  7. What kind of truck do you tow with? I have a 2010 sierra 1500. I added air bags /tow bags to the rear suspension and level out the truck when hauling. Works great and I tow an 24ft open trailer and a 24 ft enclosed trailer with it. Not at the same time. Lolol
  8. If you are going to do it yourself, I suggest purchasing mufflers of your choice, flowmaster tailpipes in the size you want and a universal x pipe kit. You will only need a few short pieces of pipe to connect everything possibly. Have done this with a few cars and worked flawlessly.
  9. Glad to hear it's better. I would still disconnect the vacuum advance and try it before doing a compression check. You could be that far advanced. Plus, it's easier. Lolol
  10. Welcome! I'm sure someone has something. Any pictures? We all love pictures!!!
  11. I personally wouldn't use the car dolly. Rent a u-haul trailer at least. With the way people drive now a days I would want at least a trailer of some sorts to try and protect my investment or I would just drive it there. My .02
  12. My vote is for the 15s. I'm more old school. Lol
  13. Definitely looks like a true 1971 SS Monte Carlo built at the Baltimore plant would have the BF on the trim tag. whatcha'll think?
  14. The pic of my red 70 SS, the tank is black and it's a flint built car.
  15. The dual snorkel air cleaner on the blue 71 SS is from a Pontiac GTO. The one on the red 70 SS is from a 70s Camaro.
  16. Have the M&H engine and front lamp harness in my 70 SS. Fit great and correct connectors.
  17. Willie, no wires. It runs off of engine vacuum.
  18. I have seen both. Mine is black.
  19. Hey Willie. The 350 harness should work. I have converted small block cars to big blocks and used the small block harness. Only thing is if it's a gauge car or an idiot light car. The engine harness must match whichever the dash is.
