  3. Got a look a like from resto parts on opgi a few years ago. Looks great, all the phone inputs ect but the sound quality leaves something to be desired. Have good speakers but , I’m an audio perfectionist what can I say.. just looked at the vintage audio radio link, to me 45 watts per channel basically won’t do it for me. Maybe add a booster..
  4. Hey Ed, enjoy the western meet . Hope to be there , someday, probably w/o Monte tho. 👋🏻… Ron …
  5. Original carb? . Sounds like it’s choking for air , I agree w Thomas . But I had a guy adjust valve lifters on an old car I had in the 70s slant 6.. boy he tightened em up really good!. No power , high gas consumption ....
  6. Thanks guys , all work no play makes for a hard life.. enjoy your camping trip Steve.. see you guys in Carlisle 👋🏻 🍌
  7. Todays project, nothing ! Go camping 🏕 big bone Lick state park in Ky . Sit on my rear for 5 days , drink something cold . No grass mowing, no fixin Anthing!.. go out and eat a time or two . Is raining some but was 90 here today so this feels GREAT.. in about two weeks I’ll be on my way to a fantastic car show and club meet in Carlisle PA.
  8. Sure could be Rob.. my tires are about 6 years old... Mastercraft... they weren’t as white on the lettering as I wanted... the car is white so they looked dingy next to it.. I tried the lettering dye or paint and it looked not so good ,up close... I had to scrub and scrub and use the bleach white but finally got them looking much better . ..I also sometimes think the tire shine that is being put on tires is soaking into the white lettering making it less bright and turn brown.. but obviously that wasn’t the case with your new white walls.. because you just got them.. I think it affected mine initially tho...
  9. Going to try and make it again 2022.. wonderful show , lots of vendors,, no end to he classics...

    shell oil

I use the same oil, I’ve always heard it has zinc but not much... so, I added one bottle to my oil...newer heads and valves do not require this I am told... my friend at auto zone that drives a 71 Chrysler told me I best use it.. so I have... experience no problems with it Willie.
  13. I hope it works out Dennis, on-the white letters. I tried something like that a few years ago on mine. Started looking bad with age.. had a difficult time getting it off the tires too. I ended up using plain ole bleach white for tire lettering.. works great on mine... took the yellow out tooo..👍🏻
  14. OMG ! I wouldn’t touch that with gloves on a 10 foot pole! Or the cheerleaders either BTW.😆. 🍌. Somebody’s gotta show me how to do those Bananas Dennis. You certainly deserve more after having to mess with that!...
  15. Mine looks worse for wear than yours, but, it’s original 😃.. It’s on my someday fixit maybe list...

  17. Trying to tidy things up before Carlisle trip. This field too many weeds for hay.. other neighbor will cut hay in two other fields... saves me from mowing... she’s an old blue ford 4600 super utility- 1979 model..
  18. When I worked on electronics some meters “ or gauges” did have zero or calibration screws located usually on the back of the gauge. Would depend on the type and brand. . I can’t access mine now but I don’t think the Monte gauges do. I would borrow ,or buy, a laser temp meter from local auto parts place and see what the engine temperature really is running...they aren’t that expensive, I have one I use...may have to go online to get one also... then if your interior gauge is off start with the sending unit. Simply because it’s the easiest to replace if your gauges are built In .. hope this helps...
  19. Oh my, I can’t imagine. I will remember him in prayer. Please keep us advised how he is doing... I hope you get your crusin buddy back real soon!
  20. Not familiar with that gauge package brand but I replaced the original pcb in my 71 had no problems. Has the manufacture have any suggestions?.. just sounds like a connection problem to me tho...
  21. Sorry, but if opgi says “ in stock soon”. Don’t bother...
