  2. Does anyone have a picture of the idle speed solenoid and bracket on a 4 barrel quadrajet for a 1970 454. I might have found one for my car but would like to make sure it's correct.

  5. Where in Illinois did you find the car?
  6. If you have the correct ignition key and door cylinders you could try to see if a local dealer could rebuild the cylinders to match the keys. When I worked for a dealer years ago we rebuilt them all the time. Good luck
  7. I have had or been having the same problem. The prior owner put a aftermarket starter in so I thought it was good. A forum member suggested I replace it with an acdelco and I did. I thought my problem was gone but the other day the car wouldn't start when hot. It's a big block, another forum member suggested a heat shield so that is what I'm trying now. I would guess starter on your car....good luck.

  11. Looking good, are you going to keep it or sell it?
  12. Not sure that you will be able to mount a speaker with large magnets, maybe someone has a tip for you but the space on the driver's side is tight.

  14. Are you looking for an original radio or aftermarket. I found an original on ebay and had rebuilt. I wanted to go with the original am 8track. Someone here on the forum also had there radio sent to someone that adds all the bluetooth and digital features to the radio. I believe that was about 700.

  19. I think there should be a rear defogger relay, did you check it out?
