+1 on PoR 15 as I bought a Chevy orange high temp paint and painted by hand in some locations as it looks good after several years.

I would assume it depends on what Qjet you have, did you match the gasket to your Qjet?

I can’t answer your question about alignment or something like that as others may chime in.

Not sure why have 3 mounts there as the radiator support mount kit comes with two for each side with bracket in between.

Not sure without pictures, can you post them? One possibility is that it has wrong mounts?

Thanks Rob, the cable is newly installed by a shop last fall. What kind of grease and how much to use?

Curious if grease will help with needle on console from jumping back and forth under 40 mph?

I agree to keep the 71 grille 😀 I read some reviews on LED lights that have mixed reviews so I am not ready to convert mine yet.

I have Petronix on mine too, easy to convert and keep the original look. -
I don’t think they are reproduced as I’ve seen them available via eBay, Craigslist, etc. with original colors.

Did you adjust the hood hinge properly that should pop when you release the hood latch? Mine does the same as I had my front end removed then put back together as I haven’t gotten to adjust the hood hinges yet.

Negative battery cable is smoking !

Mine was smoking as I connected cables the opposite way, had to replace the cables with color coded at both ends to prevent mixing it up again. -

I used side grinder with polycabride abrasive wheel which works very well.
