G71
1971 350 I have no coolant reservoir tank on my 71 and sometimes the coolant overflows. Was there ever one on these cars, and if so where could I find one? Thanks
Leghome
I have never seen a reservoir on a First Gen except aftermarket
G71
Any advice on where to get one or how to install?
7tonemonte
I just bought one from summit and received it today actually. Any of the suppliers have ones that are functional anywhere from about $20 to a couple hundred. I got a polished aluminum one for about 50, plastic starts around $

FASTSS454
I bought a extra washer jug and cap and mounted it on the right side on a homemade bracket that attached to the battery hold down bolt, looks like factory installed.
Gerard Munday
I have used an overflow tank out of a 75-79 nova. It fits inside the right fender along side the the battery.the only part visible is the cap. chevynova.com p/n 14042-1 for 39.95. Don't know if this helps. 72Ragtop
I did the same as FastSS454 but can seem to attach foto. why is this so complicated?
tortu15071
If your loosing a lot of coolant out of the overflow check your radiator cap. I had the same issue. I changed the cap with no overflow and it's fixed
71MonteCarloMD
Another thing I learned, not to fill radiator to full but to approximately 3/4 that resolved my issue of overflow .
rsorg
I keep my coolant level (when cool) at about 2-3 inches below the overflow rim hole on the radiator and do not have any issues with run over of coolant now,
