Glen
With record tying temps here today, the weekend is calling for below-freezing digits. As much as it pained me to do it, the girls are officially put away for the winter. At least it’s like climbing into a jumping jack taking the garbage out to the alley 🤣😂

Michael Boyte
Very nice, the car bubble is fantastic . You can drop a hammer on it and it will never touch the car ! Also continued filtered air circulation. Can't say enough good things about it !!!

When I retire somewhere warm and dry, I’ll send the bubbles your way. You’ll be able to pretend you’re Travolta. 1

Dtret
I’m leaving my options open. They are covered and in the garage but if weather dictates,I’ll go go a spin. O wait I don’t have a driveway yet. Couldn’t get out if I wanted to. Never mind, sleep tight.

Michael Boyte
That's pretty awesome , I would love to have seen that. I know 2 state troopers that are brothers, it's not unheard of for them to race each other, they just don't do it at the dragstrip.

Ran across these 2 from a show in my running around the inter web. At some point in the early 90s they started phasing in the “Bubble” Chevies here at work. I remember one or two years of those having the LT-1 motor with the 9C1 package, which were still a blast drive after the transition from the “Box” Chevies (my fave was the Box Caprice… I was assigned a grey unmarked that would chirp the tires hard between first and second… we beat the s%#t out of that car and it never complained. Brake torques were almost a daily occurrence 🤣). But then they gave us the Bubbles with the 4.3’s. Talk about dogs. Handled great for a big, heavy car, but had no cajones attached to the loud pedal. I also remember absolutely hating the all-new antilock brakes on those new Bubble Caprices. We quickly figured out which fuse to yank to defeat the ABS… only problem was the rear defroster was on the same fuse. Good times.
