What wires used with your big block and Hookesr?

Wondering what you guys with big blocks and Hooker Comps or SuperComps are using for spark plug wires. More the configuration than the brand. Are you running them over the valve covers, under the headers? What angle of boot are you using?

I run 135 degree boots, wires go around the valve cover. I don't think you could run them under the headers. I run hooker comps I don't know of anybody that has gotten supercomps to work in a Monte. Wire brand is up to you.

Mine are adjustable boots so I angled them as necessary. I have a bracket that mounts with the valve cover bolts that holds the wires in place. I have since removed the thermal boot covers that are in the picture.

I just recently upgraded my wires. Used 8mm wires with wire looms. Plug boots are straight on my 402 CI with Doug Thorley Headers.

I use the 135 degree boots, I favor Taylor wires

I do not have hooker headers but here is how I ran mine. I also went with Taylor wires with 45 deg boots.

Using stock GM wires that came with the crate motor.

Taylor "409" wires 135 degree boots.

I use MSD and you can angle the boots. MSD has one of the least resistance of any of them. They are black with gray boots.
