overdrive
Thanks to all of you for the compliments. Joe, it ran great for about a half hour on the way to the show, but about five miles short of the town it started popping thru the right side exhaust. I thought at the time I may have fouled a plug, but that's not the case. Now I think I may have lost a cam lobe or two. It's always ran great up to this point, but the rockers were making some noise when I got home. It still has great oil pressure and the oil level is fine. I may pull the motor this weekend. It needs to come out to get started on the body-off part of this restoration anyway. At the minimum, I think I want to install a roller cam and alum. heads and intake. Fun, fun, fun. LostnFound
Hi Dan, thought I'd chime in from way up here in the North. Your car is looking great and you do fine work. Well done! It seems that you enjoy it as well and that can be so rewarding. Good luck with the rest of the restoration.
