  1. http://m.summitracing.com/search/part-type/overflow-and-recovery-tanks Here's a link to some
  2. I just bought one from summit and received it today actually. Any of the suppliers have ones that are functional anywhere from about $20 to a couple hundred. I got a polished aluminum one for about 50, plastic starts around $20
  3. I think I may have a set still in my freezer! It does help though!
  4. Awesome Cory! Looks like fun! Should be driving soon huh?
  5. Yes the clip is on like original, it was slightly loose for my liking but just a minor tweak and it fit nice and snug! I ordered them a couple months ago when I saw them pop up on the website, finally got them in and I was real happy with them. It was held up apparently missing the container from overseas according to The Parts Place.
  6. Already got mine. Fit very nice and the chrom was nice also. I bent the lower tab slightly to hold them tighter in the opening. Got them from parts place
  7. Nice looking engine bay! The master cylinder looks great also
  8. http://www.firstgenmc.com/forums/index.php?/topic/2513-removing-dash-tips/ Some good tips in here! Good luck, take your time!
  9. Anyone have good pics of the grille on a 71 and how it's supposed to look, as far as paintwork within the grille, what's black, gray, etc? I'd love to spend a little time and clean mine up and would like to get it back to the way it's supposed to look. Taking care of a few exterior details that have always bothered me, headlight bezels done, now on to the grille Thanks a lot!
  10. What....... No pictures? I need to drop the front on mine, especially since the new wheels, I just can't bring myself to start cutting!
  11. It had metal tabs that went through and bent over behind from what I remember, I am pretty sure I used a few pieces of good double sided tape like what we use to reinstall moldings on a car also
  12. Take care of what is important, that's first! We don't want to lose you here though, hopefully we get to catch up again at a future meet, one with nicer weather next time!
  13. I used them on my car, took minor tweaking but not a major issue I thought. Far cheaper than the NOS route for me. I think Corvex was on the plastic. Check with any of the vendors, they all have them
  14. I'm not knowledgeable in this, I know some other members have done it. I'm pretty sure Mark (Wallaby) did this on his car also. Anyone else?
  15. Ran that size on my Monte for quite a while. Never an issue, ever!
  16. I'd jump in on that too Jim!
  17. Sounds like if you didn't pull it apart, it was going to do it for you! Sometimes snowballs are good
  18. The ones I got from Cars-Inc were very nice, but I had to order from them due to mine being cloth, and they were the only ones at the time selling that. I know plenty of people with Legendary covers, and they look great, and was told they fit perfect also. The new ones with the added bolster for the buckets are really comfy also, and don't look non-stock.
  19. I have the ultra seal on mine for about 10 years with no issues but I like the ones Scott was talking about too
  20. Just wanted to throw a thank you out to everyone for the well wishes, prayers, donations, phone calls, texts and whatever in the last 6 weeks or so after my surgery. It has been great talking, texting to everyone, and reading all the well wishes here along with everyone who pitched in to the go fund me thing that was started byScott and Bob and whoever else had a hand in it. Bob,Scott, and Sam all know I'd have been against it but honestly, I got a Check today and it really will help to eliminate some of the stress from this whole mess over the last few weeks. CK has constantly checked in with me, and I've gotten many Pms checking in. This whole crew has been more than kind to my family, and meant more than people who've I've considered family and lifelong friends. I can't thank everyone enough for the thoughts, and can't tell you what it's meant to us here. The Fgmcc is not only full of sweet cars but sweet people. You all rock!!' Thanks everyone, there was some anonymous people that I didn't thank personally, but know I have an idea who some are, and to those I don't have a clue, know that you have made an impact here at my house, and been used as an example to my kids as to how to be there for people in life. The Fgmcc is an amazing crew, love you all!
  21. I never had to remove the collector bolts
  22. It's on my list of upgrades, gonna have to wait a while right now though
