I'm not sure about the screw size, but the rubber part is very close to the original part. Dan

They are a high pressure, low volume pump that operates by engine vacuum. There are 3 small check valves inside that must be clean and have the seats in good condition in order to build pressure. If it works, it's best to air up the system to about 100 psi with your shop air hose, and then let the compressor take the pressure up from there. The compressor should automatically stop at around 120 psi, give or take a few pounds. Dan

The back drive linkage is used with the floor shifted automatics to turn the collar on the steering column to keep the shifter from being moved out of Park when the key is off, and lock the steering wheel. On floor shifted cars, the gear indicator is on the console lid, and the neutral safety switch is inside the console. Access to the plugs is not an issue. Dan

My ARH headers are 1 7/8" and fit great, but I had the body off when I installed them. There's easy access to the oil filter and the factory starter. I've had zero heating issues with the combination valve for the brakes, and it's still located in the factory position on the frame. The only issue I found was when I was going to reinstall the back drive linkage from the TH400 to the steering column. The headers don't have the needed clearance for that. I plan to modify the linkage, but haven't gotten to it, yet. It's not really necessary to have it. Here are some pics I haven't posted before. Dan

Your car is looking great! Very nice job. Here are some pics to help with the rocker paint. It just follows the factory seam at the front and rear edge that's inside the door opening. The tape edge goes through the center of the trim holes on the quarter panel and the fender. Dan

I have the same block from Kansas City. It has the same font, and I've seen others just like it. The first part of the stamping was done at the Tonowanda engine plant. The second stamp was done at the assembly plant and it's not unusual for the Kansas City plant to stamp theirs "upside down". The Tonawanda stamp on mine was struck twice. Dan
