    For us , the worse thing about the sail panels would have to be the piece of crap cardboard. Even our new replacements had to be replaced . The fabric would not adhere without showing separation or warping after a short time . We substituted a sheet of pvc for the cardboard and that has provided years of show quality.

    Thanks , That's why I built in seating half way down . ( To many steps )Lol. You can sit on the left going down and watch the sun rise or sit on the right in the evenings and watch the sun set. Those steps keeps us from being in a flood zone , which also greatly lowers our insurance .

    Thanks man , 1700 SQ ft under roof . it took me about 6 months to build . Of course I had to build it myself . Just wasn't very impressed with the work of the marine contractors around here. The plumb , square and level are missing from most of their tool boxes .

    We were told that only tinted glass was available due to the fact that the movie industry had purchased all of the correctly stamped clear glass .

    Binswanger glass ( 1-800-365-9922 ) was able to supply us with all of our glass and everything was lof ( Libby Owens Ford ) marked . It's been a few years, they may be able to help you out.

    Fantastic looking engine compartments. Obviously I don't have one or I would already know. Were the air compressor canisters Black or anodized in 1970 ? What about in 71 ?

    Keep all original parts, Then build it the way you want it. Take a good look at Steve Lavante's SS( Monteman71) or Dan's '70 Z20 . Two fine examples , As nice as they come and built to have a lot of fun with. Definitely go with a hydraulic roller cam and never look back !!
