72 LS5
I love the guy hammering the living daylights out of those knock-offs like a madman!
70mcarlo
WOW - what a difference!!!
Canuck
Those F1 stops are crazy fast. I still prefer the NASCAR style with less men over the wall. The jackman and tire changes have to run around the car to complete the stop. Those guys are athletes.
Patrick Sheean
Some things are faster and better, and some things are slower and worse, for example taking a pee in the 1950's went much faster. Taking one in 2014 is much slower, so not everything improves with time.
502ci
That is amazing, I am impressed. The 1950 pit stop took exactly 1 minute and 3 seconds...it was painful to watch...
Rob Peters
That is amazing. I also loved the guy hammering on the right front tire knockoff. That one guy seemed to wash the wind screen several times. rob
cudax
Man, don't blink on the 2nd pit stop, you will miss it!
footballubet
What a difference! Several years ago I was at the NASCAR Pit School in Charlotte N.C. Those people are beasts! Some of the times those teams can perform a pit stop is amazing.
7tonemonte
Guy had a lot of issues with that right front tire, he needs a bigger hammer That really is incredible now
Vaughn
That is crazy fast compared to the "old days"
LostnFound
Wow! That's incredible! Thanks for sharing.
wallaby
That was quite the comparison. The 1950 crew wasn't without time-saving methods; check out the neat jacking device that lifts the entire front end! (they just needed a bigger guy to work it), and of course those speedy knock-offs for the wheels. The 2oz paper cups were amusing...head back to the water cooler for a second serving. The whole pace of things was different. Listen to the sounds of the passing cars on the track.
71 MONTE 4 YA
67 seconds not bad at all in 1950 all manual labor. I think I missed something in 2013. Wow!!
