downset71
was thinking about changing my dash vents for the longest time. after about 6 months of looking into peoples cars, asking around for measurements, i finally came up with eclipse dash vents. pics are in backwards order lol

wallaby
Yea, that looks like an improvement. The original style vents always look flimsy to me with all the "venitian blind" slats...I'm afraid to get my fingers near 'em. LOL. and God forbid if they need cleaning... I like your solution, but those screws need to be black.
502ci
Interesting project, pretty cool. I never thought of doing that type of modification, definately different.
downset71
as for the screws, i had the black in first. but the rest of my dash has aluminum paneling with silver screws, so i flip-flopped back to silver. The center vent is a challenge to retro something new because of the long rectangular shape. but ive been on the hunt, trust me!
Ian
Nice looking dash! I see you have Air Ride, how do you like it?
downset71
its had its ups and downs (no joke intended ) wasnt happy at first, it takes alot of trunk room up,but after dialing in adjustable shocks, and playin with ride height, its much better. still have to get a good rear adjustable, and decide whether or not to ditch rear sway bar,as alot of a-body cars actually handle better with no rear bar. but install wasnt bad, had to trim frame in front for strut-style bags. but in the long run, everybody else is happy with my car it seems when they see it drop! ART techs are awesome to deal with. very helpful. Nice car Ian- is that orig gm color? mine was same copper brown years ago---

What's on the side of your door? I can't read it. Car looks great!
