Still needing a new roof, on the house, a job for next summer probably but this repair had to be done now. Was washing the vinyl siding and noticed the wind had blow loose an end cap on the peak of the roof. Completely gone. Would leak water into soffit !. 💦. Rained this morning but quit and roof dried so I ‘ like the stubborn person I am” decides I’ll be the one who has to fix it if it’s gonna be done. it’s a very steep incline and with the grace of God I made it up to the top and back down.. at least it won’t leak until I can get a new roof. Beautiful view :)…

Yea, I lost Moroso down here in Fl right when I finished my Monte which was about an hour away 🙃and now this. Ive heard some good feedback on Summerduck in Va which is about 2 1/2 so we'll se what happens next year. Also maybe VMP which is about the same distance. Good thing I picked up a diesel for towing 🤣

Believe it or not that was his plan. Medical issues got in the way. I personally think it was a good excuse not to attempt a restoration. It was his first car and he’s now 54. He teared up when it left. I teared up when I took it. Lol.

Put the 71 up on the lift to clean underneath from a rainy car show trip. Removed the rear stainless behind the rear wheels. Did some touch up painting in exposed area. Didn’t look bad behind stainless after all these years, no rust!.

Yes, I believe it's either Labor day or Memorial day. Either way, we have huge family/friend BBQs at Kevin's house. This year, 2024 will be 100 years the family has had the BBQs at that location.

Not intentionally trying to catch up. Jared is down south so he gets the good parts. Me living in the rust belt it takes me 10 times as many parts to find the good one I’m looking for. I know what you’re thinking, why don’t you just buy the good parts you need? My answer is simple, I love the hunt. Always have. One the cars are done I really don’t care much anymore I like the build and all the snowballs and monkey wrenches. Yep strange I know.

Yal, fix it day , again. Never ends. My gmc Sierra stereo just didn’t sound right. Come to find out there’s no sound from left channel rear of front. Left dash works . I figured mice !. Ugh.. but I googled it and seems to be a common problem. Speakers go out. So I decided to research that first instead of wiring. Take drivers door panel off and sure enough, speaker 🔈 no continuity. Same with rear door. Ordered and they be here Monday. A pain to get to , to replace. But I like good music! 🎶

I hope so too Ron. I poured a new floor and made provisions, don't think I'll find one as nice as yours for that price 🤣

Impressive Ron .......And the underside looks as nice as the rest of your Monte I got the QuickJack lift when I got my Monte, was a game changer for sure the only down side was no access from the sides. I hope to graduate to a 2 post next year 🤞

Well my Va local track shut down 😡 Heard rumors but its done now. Not surprising since its happening across the country. At the moment the closest track is 2 1/2 hours away 🙃 Will have to wait till next year and see how things are. Made my first pass's in the Monte here (picture is then in the lanes) and a bunch more in the DD before that. Lots of good times.

We know exactly how you feel Mark. Both Englishtown and then Atco dragways closed down. Etown was a little over 1/2 hr away, was golden! Atco about 1 1/2 hrs away. Now closest is Island dragway. About 1 1/2hrs also but north and in the mountains. ☹️
