  1. Getting closer to paint. The body is blocked and ready to go. They are now working on prepping the insides of the front fenders, and underneath the hood and trunk, for sealer and paint.

  2. Well normally if I’m out with the car, it’s to go to cruise ins or some local shows to hang out so the speaker goes in the glove box and my drink goes with me. Then I close the lid and it all still looks factory. I think the console design is so nice looking that I didn’t want to modify it.

  5. Last Saturday, got the 70 out, and up on the lift to remove both bumpers. Last Monday, they were both dropped off at Librandi's Plating near Harrisburg, PA for restoration and re-chroming.

  6. There’s a handful of cottages but the main party area is usually the space surrounding the pool . We have the entire hotel to the club so the whole place is the Party Palace. 😎

  7. Doing the inside of stuff and underside of stuff is a real pain but has to be done for sure. Been there done that. Looks great can't wait to see it in color.

  8. Just finished this insert for my console. I decided to leave the factory AM radio alone and go with a wireless speaker with Bluetooth. They sound surprisingly good. Was wanting a cup holder also. I hinged it to have access to what little space is underneath. I just had to R+R the lid and latch to drop it in. No mods to the console and the lid works as it should. I will admit to having a stupid amount of time fitting it because nothing on these consoles straight or square. All 4 inside corners are a different radius.

  9. If it is an old post you should respond directly to that post because you could be responding to someone who is not on here often and by responding to the post he may get an email notification. rob Oops, disregard the above, I see now that is exactly what you had done. rob

  10. Looking good! The bottom inner fender filler panel behind the front wheels gets installed from underneath and can be done after everything is completely assembled. No need to wait for those.

  14. Been with State Farm since the 70s. All vehicles, house, daughter life insurance, one antique car insured and one they insured as a classic at a cheaper rate. One word of advice, don’t file a claim on an insurance company app. Talk with your agent.. also, insurance rates have increased 38% since 2001.. with New York State, Florida, and California being some of the highest..

  16. I use Grundy and extremely happy with them. Had to have the car towed 18 months ago call my agent and sent him a copy of the receipt and 10 days later I received my check for the tow and $198 a year for $25 K value which OI need to increase.

  18. Thanks for sharing. I was unaware of this build. If you go to the Autotopiala website they have his first complete build. A 70 Mach1. It was about 4 years ago, also a SEMA car, but this was done in his garage. He’s pretty much self taught and quite humble. There is a large monthly cruise-in out in the Orange County area of So Cal that he’s brought the Mustang and the Ford GT to. Not sure about this latest build. Check out the Comet brake failure crash. Not too smart.
