  2. Let's see, would that be just one deviation from factory correct or would it be 4 deviations???? How about the spare? rob

  3. Hummmm I had never considered Raised White Letters as an alteration but if Joe thinks we should.....Hummmmm. we have always allowed radials as a safety allowance. rob

  4. Tires are not included as they are considered β€œ safety β€œ. lol. πŸ˜‚ Unless it counts on β€œ certain β€œ tires. Modifications only count if you bring the car, correct?

  5. White letter tires too...makes it 8-10 modifications potentially.

  6. I don't care mine is still in street category. One year I was parked next to Jack's car when judges came around, they spent about 10 minutes looking at his and then looked at mine and walked away after about 30 seconds, but that's ok, a little rude but ok πŸ˜…. They can disqualify me if they want, I don't really care. Like I said I'm there for the fun not awards. Mine is mostly original unrestored car with the changes I wanted to make.

  12. Perhaps a 'No Car' surcharge should be on the table for consideration πŸ€”. Make it higher than the 'Number of Modifications' cost....hmmmm. I like it!

  13. Don’t forget the 20 lug nuts. The wheels look great Aaron. I think it would’ve been really cool if GM reserved those as SS only.

  14. Yes, I sent him an email a few days ago. I told him he is coming due fir a 10 year Anniversary Award. The plan is, on Friday around lunch time, to present everyone due Anniversary Awards their awards in the Club Canopy. It is Ryan's hope to be able to bring his Monte if it is running well enough. Ryan has already reserved one of the last two available rooms bringing us down to only one remaining room at the host hotel. rob

  15. Thats it for now. I have some pics on Falsebook, but don't know how to bring them over here. Probably from old computers that don't work right anymore. Need to get my kids to pull the hard drives and save the pics to an external hard drive. I also had alot of pics on old phones that don't work anymore. I still saved the phones, hoping I can retrieve the pictures somehow. Again, something for the kids to do.

  21. Tough to say, especially if they didn't leave a 'conversion sticker' someplace. Check the high and low gauge access points, do they have adapters put on there to accept R134A connections? That would be my first place to look. Next would be if the POA valve was replaced with a cycling switch maybe.

  40. One interesting thing with these style of rims is there are slight differences depending on the vintage. The middle section of the early style rims sticks out further and is flush with the trim ring. The later ones are not out as far exposing a little bit of the inside edge of the trim ring. The hole for the valve stem is also oval on the early style vs round on the later ones. I’m glad I checked mine before I blasted and painted them because one of them was the later style while the other three were the early style. Luckily a club member not too far from me had a set with the opposite problem (1 early style and 3 later style). We swapped rims and both of us now have a matching set of 4 rims. Early style Later style
