stangeba
Just think, when I was driving my new Monte home on it's first day, I never would have thought of something like this! This year: 2023 Year of my Monte: 1971 Age of my Monte: 52 Year of my Monte: 1971 Less it's age: 52 52 year old car in 1971 was built in 1919!
Canuck
I do a similar thing considering the age of my Monte when I got it. My 1970 Monte was 26 years old when I got it in 1996. That would be the equivalent of my daughter buying a 1997 coupe today. The Monte seemed like a classic car when I got it in 1996. A 1997 Monte Carlo doesn’t seem like a classic car to me but that’s maybe my age showing.

Rob Peters
My 1929 Model A Ford was 37 years old when I purchased it and I gave owned it for 56 years. My Monte was 30 years old when I bought it and have now owned it a little over 23 years. Time flies when you are having fun. rob

I took it up the block a couple months ago. 3/4 mile total but I didn’t think that constitutes “ a drive “. Lol.

Mikstudie
I still remember the day my dad drove it home from the dealer (Sept.1971) I was only 15 years old, I had to wait about six months before I could drive it.

Mike, I was a mechanic then a service advisor at Russ milne Ford in Mt. Clemens Mi from 1972 till 1981. I left them for a service advisor job a Vyletel Buick in Sterling Hts, Mi. for 1 year. Good times! (Milne Ford didn't like it when I parked my 71 Monte where customers could see it!) 😁
