Admit it. The banter convinced you to attend, right?

Looking forward to meeting you. :2beers:

I've known about the banter for years Jim and we have met before at previous meets, remember discussing genny cream ale? A few years back. Think that was the year Saturday got rained out and we hung out at the hotel. We started out camping that weekend but came over to hotel on Saturday.

How could I ever forget that meet? A total washout for me as I recall. Kept the car covered all day Saturday in the hotel parking lot. That was like the 24 hours of bench racing, right?

Yea hard to forget that meet but we made the best of it. As I've said before it's more about the people involved than it is about the cars.

Believe it or not, many people have said that rained out Saturday was kind of a bonus because with all of us at the hotel rather than scattered all around the show field was kind of a bonus because they really had a chance to get to know the members much better.  While that was very nice I am praying for excellent weather for the 2024 Eastern meet.

OK Everyone.......... The next person from the club who registers with me for the Eastern Meet will be NUMBER 70     But, don't stop looking for people to join us in this meet.  We still have over 3 1/2 months to shoot for 80 members or who knows, maybe 90.

Within 24 hours of me posting we had almost hit 70 members registered with me and I was wondering how long it would take for that 70th member to register.... Well, it has happened.  This evening around supper time NUMBER 70 has registered with me.  That member is our club founding father Kevin Wiles.

Kevin, I am so glad you are going to be able to  make it.

Ok, now we have broken the 70 member mark let's shoot for 80.  I received a dues payment yesterday from a person who lives about a half hour from me and I have approached him about attending the Eastern Meet and he has already told me he wants to attend.

Maybe if it would have defaulted to what it was originally when using my laptop I wouldn't have e needed to play with them!!  When I first typed the message it was so small I couldn't read it.  Hey Joe, what was the original typeface and font size and can you get it to default to that.   Now this post has been hijacked from talking about the Eastern Meet to talking about Joe and his face type.🤣🤣:hijack:

I didn't change any settings for font size. That field was always there. I just added the ability for different style fonts.

Nobody else has had a different sized type since adding the 3 new fields. Basically, you broke something 😄

I was wondering that too, I guess sometimes glasses are more important 🤔 maybe California is it owne country now wouldn't that be nice. Just like they are talking about making NY city it's own state that would be great for the rest of the state but we'll keep long Island though. But the city would probably go broke in a month or so without upstate money flowing in. Oh well we can only dream about that. But yes this is going to be a great meet for sure.

Well, we now know who is Member Number 75 but not just number 75..... We now have 76 members registered with me to attend.  I have just added Tom Carter #75 and his sister Eileen Powers as #76, each bringing their own Monte.

Saturday 8:55PM  March 23rd  I just added Member Number 77, Mike Mnich from Pennsylvania, his Monte sounds very interesting, looking forward to seeing it in Carlisle

Joe had pointed out a couple members who were not on the list.  Those two have been added but when I counted it only added up to 75 so I found the one that was missing and added that member too.  So it now adds up to 76 members.
