  1. I had mine shipped to me in Western Canada without issue. They look great. I had to open up a hole or two to get them to fit. Take your time putting them in and you will get great results.

  2. I am now all registered for Syracuse nationals and camping too. I am in a little better shape than I was last year and hoping to be even better by then. Still may rent the scooter for the week though just to be sure I can get around alright, that's a very large area to cover on foot. To see it all in one day you'd actually have to jog around and the next day it'll look like a different show for the most part because some cars move around.

  6. Joe T called me and we talked through things and came up with what I think is a great solution. Use the existing heater fuse for one of the sources (since the original blower motor has been replaced by the new unit) Use the IGN spade for the other source Viola! Thanks @jft69z!

  7. @DragCat all LEDs are polarity sensitive. They are electrical diodes, which are the equivalent of mechanical one way check valves. They can only be put into a DC circuit in one direction in order to function properly Note that with the 1157 type bulbs the little detents that stick out are at different longitudinal positions along the barrel. So they can only go in one way

  10. The Parts Place is awesome!! With an order of that size, they’ll throw in an original lug wrench/tire iron for free When it arrives, you can use it to pry open your wallet, remove $25 and send it to the FGMCC to become a dues paying member. It’s the best money you’ll spend for all the help and advice you’ve gotten for free all this time.

  11. After removing the rear seat and side panel you will need to unbolt the window regulator from the body of the car. Then see if you have enough movement to take the regulator off of the window. If not you may have to loosen the window stop (on the bottom) and possibly remove the window track itself to gain the room .

  13. Does that mean I have to start the projects 🤔 I guess that would be a good idea eh

  14. I put them on my 71 a few years ago.Look and fit really nice. Just keep the bolts loose so you can massage it around a little. Shipping was as Willie stated. I have ordered parts from them recently and had no issues but they are now owned by someone else. Classic Industries I believe.

  15. Ray i had bought a set from the parts place, years ago. I didn't use them so can not tell you about the fit, but i still have them and will use them in the future. They were packaged well, and they had no breakage when they arrived.

  17. I count on the rain to wash mine. Hope it rains on the way up, so my wash is fresh for the show!

  20. I agree makes no sense to wash them it'll either rain or pick up bugs along the way for sure. Usually a hose at hotel and there are wash bays at the show field anyone can use.

  21. Kinda talking out of both sides of my mind there. Did you hit the adult beverages a little early today? Ironically I understand where you’re coming from.

  22. The main reason I even watch the show is the fab shop guys. While I do appreciate the paint and body work it doesn't interest me one bit, can't do it not interested. I can't do the fab work either but its interesting

  24. on second thought, this sign thing is a bad idea. Let him get his own cookies, he can afford them.

  25. Not as bad as I thought once I got the front off jack stands. New front coils should balance it out. I’ll clean the new white walls later.

  26. Their values seem outdated. Those SS454 prices would be right 5 years ago but not now. I was considering selling my 71 SS this year but would just keep it at those prices. I turned down $50k USD for it in 2022..

  27. Glen. my car has the fiber optic ash tray light. My build sheet shows code U28 ASH TRAY LIGHT. I'm not sure if that helps

  28. Thanks for the info Steve. We buy our 3 day passes on the day we arrive, at the Host hotel. The group that runs the show (used to be Right Coast) has a no refund policy for any reason. Unfortunately life can change or sometimes get in the way, between now and the show dates. Because of their no refund policy, we now purchase them when we get there.
