Canuck
1970 - 26 years I was 19 and saw it parked behind a Nissan dealership. I wasn’t looking for a car but it caught my eye. It turned out it was owned by one of the salesman and it was for sale. Copper 1971 SS - 6 years I first saw it at the 2006 Western Meet and loved the colour. 10 years later I purchased it from the club member. It was never advertised for sale. 1972 - 5 years (2008-2013) Purchased on ebay with 55,000 miles. I flew down to Reno, NV and drove it 1,000 miles home. Red 1971 SS - 3 years (2013-2016) A fellow locally had passed away in 2012. I could not afford it but helped the widow with a realistic value she could sell it for so she doesn’t get lowballed. I kept in contact with her and she sold it to me a year later. I sold it to a club member to buy the copper SS. It was not advertised for either the purchase or sale.

Plated it as soon as I could and never looked back. I did have to fix a bunch of minor things but that's normal. Been working on it ever since but haven't missed a summer of driving it.
