I drove the 70 Monte to work today. It drives really nice. Engine has good power and the rebuilt trans is nice and smooth. Here is a photo on the way to work where I got stopped for construction for a few minutes.

White over blue are the colors I’d also want on a cloned SS.

Kidding of course… she looks great.

For a clone, it turned out pretty good. But I may have an emblem upside down. 🙃

I wouldn't get my hopes up..... It's sunny and cold here today with more snow predicted this weekend. I'm pretty sure it's heading your way after it finishes with us. :(

It’s not what I did to the Monte today. It’s what I’m doing for the Monte’s. lol. In process of picking this up and relocating it to my property ( no 2x4’s involved). 16 x36. Not pretty now but we’ll see how it goes. Don’t know if I will put cars in it yet but it will be great for parts.

Got delayed today, not complaining I was with good people. Anyway, got in the garage late, put on the battery charger, got it off the jack stands, topped off the air shocks, tires, checked the oil and rad. The rad looked a little low so I'm off in the morning to get some distilled water.

Works for me so I can go to the car wash and clean 2K roadtrip grime off the truck. Also bought a TPMS for the trailer and have to get that set up.

Plan is to be on a cruise tomorrow, and test the line lock and lay down some smoke 🤣

I have no doubt that Dennis can do this and without injuring himself.  Did you notice he said no 2X4's are involved.  :yay::yay::k

That’s funny Willie. I just took a gas tank to the head today. Pretty decent gouge. lol. So the before pic will have previous marks. I worked on it about 4 hours Saturday and got all the electrical pulled. I also marked everything so the rebuild goes smoothly. We will see what the next trip brings back here.

I never liked how far the tail light housing stuck out from the factory quarter panel, so I popped the spot welds yesterday, got it wedged out, and welded it back together. Next is to finish the hood and other body work and hope to get it in paint before summer.

Of course no photos, I'm terrible at that.
