cny first gen 71
Finally got mine out after its extra long winters nap, battery was dead but charged right up. Finally dry enough to put trailer on side of house so I could get it out
Rock
Went to a car show Saturday the 10th and received this little dish. Really suprised. Glendia was getting worried that we were going to be shut out again. Not me it is just something else we have to keep clean but it was nice to get the recognition.going to have to buy a bigger trophy case at this rate. monte70car
Lifted off the cover on my 70 to check something and said nope I'm not going to go and stick my hand under the dash. Had a little field mouse in it and don't want to meet him right now. So I went over to the 72 and ran more wires. Got the under dash gauges all hooked up, got the EFI brain wired in. 72-CLASSIC_RIDE
Today I completed my project(s)! Tomorrow I wash her up and start detailing her getting ready for the Western Meet. Inner Fenders got painted today (the weather cooperated), checked A/C and works so much better now with the. new Blower Motor. Installed Inner Fenders and put her back together. Long day(s) but have been worth the effort. Now I think I can relax a little bit. Oh yeah and dressed the 2 front tires. Pic is a before & after of tires. monte70car
Tapped out some areas on the air cleaner so it clears the so call fuel bowls Now I have to figure out the power brake fitting as it fits one of the runners on the intake. Don't want a plumbing nightmare.
Paul Bell
I fooled with a few small things today. O2 sensors installed, knock sensors installed, coolant temp sensor installed, fuel rail hold-downs finalized, throttle body and cable bracket finalized, measurements taken for LS coil mounting, discovered the 1x Vortex distributor takes the smallest drive gear. GatorDog72
I ripped my fuel cell and battery out of the trunk to completely strip the crappy peeling paint and rust off the floor. Repainted it with black chassis paint, now the trunk looks acceptable enough to open it at a show

LostnFound
I cleaned road grime from the rain storms on the way home from the Eastern Meet. The whole car was covered. I also installed one of the Morris Concepts seat belts for the test run. Been there...done that....bought and used the t-shirt.

badddoin
Finally jumped in and used my welder for the first time. Ugly but functional. Congratulations, welding is a game-changer. Oh, and I've seen a lot worse.
monte70car
Had the wheels off the 72 and grab some pictures of the work that was done and even slide the drive shaft into place. Cut the wheel studs down so I can run the matching rear lug nuts.

cny first gen 71
Woohoo finally able to get mine out of garage. First Sunday since the nationals I've been home and not raining. Just out burning some gas. Feels good for a change
Paul Bell
I like your set up. Looks clean. Unfortunately, I can't use these Hartman plastic valve covers anymore, each bolt boss is cracked. When tightened, the cracks spread and they weep oil. I'm considering tall cast polished blanks and getting them anodized-blue, of course. Paul Bell
Billet Specialties said it was impossible to use an electric water pump. And space out the system to add a crank sensor behind the crank pulley. I wonder what they would've said about fitting the bigger/better AD244 alternator? (Don't worry, I'll be getting a polished one)
