Dtret
lol My 70 restoration project or parts for sale or Dennis your a stupid idiot So here goes. Thursday after work (I got done at 11 am) I drove to Maryland and bought a 70 ss. Number matching engine and transmission ( don’t know about rear yet) Flint built. I have not been to sleep yet so I’m on 35 hours straight. Here are the pictures. Let me know. The guy I bought it from was talking about parting it out even though he really liked the car. Just too much work with his time constraints. It sat in a field for a minimum of 10 to 15 years. Previous owners pulled the black vinyl top off and pulled some parts of the engine. It will be interesting to say the least. But it looks basically unmolested. All ss parts are still on the car. Lots of pictures, it’s like a bad dream.

Heck she is much better than a few that i have. I say save her. Its not like you cant, we seen your work! Good Luck on your decision. PS if that color interior is sandlewood, i might have front covers for her.
Glen
Dennis, I truly envy guys like you who possess the know-how (not to mention the tools and materials) to make something like this a restored reality. Do what’s in your heart, the rest will follow.

Dtret
Thanks all. A lot will depend on when I get it up on stands and check out the underside. Floor boards look pretty good but sitting that long in a field has me concerned about the frame. But I do know where there’s a chevelle sitting with a non original engine in it. A 70 crn engine would look pretty good in it.
